We would say that we’re not ordinary but you probably wouldn’t believe us. So we’ll only say that so far, no one that entered here has regretted it. We’ve been through many interviews but never compromised the quality although at some point the need was quite urgent.

  • LIVES AND BREATHES CODE

    We need makers, not managers. We’re software-oriented company with a little touch of chaos. We need developers who really want to develop code, and not some random dudes or gals wishing only to slip into the managerial positions. We do not have managers, and we tend to keep it that way. Everyone is a developer and manager in its own way.


    Note: Do not assume that we’re about to leave this concept and set our focus on sales instead of development.

  • HAS EXPERIENCE IN ANY PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE AND IS GOOD AT WHAT (S)HE DOES

    This can ensure you the spot in the crew. You know what? We develop mobile apps 99% of the time. Although you may not be familiar with the programming language or the environment, the basics are the same almost everywhere. You need to know the fundamentals, the basic core of programming. Everything else can be overcome.

  • IS WILLING TO GO THE EXTRA MILE

    What is an extra mile? It’s when you’re not sure whether you have enough gas in your tank but you’re willing to go anyway. It’s when you’re not sure whether the solution you’re implementing is the right one but you still try it . It’s when you’re pretty sure that you’re not going to catch the deadline but nevertheless you go for it. It’s the ability to push forward even when the facts tell you otherwise.

  • IS WILLING TO LEARN AND UPGRADE THROUGH EXPANDING THE KNOWLEDGE FOR EVERYTHING THAT'S MOBILE

    Well, this refers to the second point mentioned above. You need to have the grasp and the fundamental knowledge in order to expand your skills and expertise. It’s about knowing where you stand and where you want to be, and being the best that you can. It’s about developing with passion and being hungry for more, always.

  • WORKS HARD AND PLAYS FAIR. BECAUSE WE DO

    We work hard. We’re dedicated. We’re responsible. In order to fit here, you should be too. We play fair. We haven’t had complaints from our teammates. If we happen to have, we’d listen carefully and respond in a way that doesn’t compromise the work process or the atmosphere. We want you to tell us if anything’s wrong. We appreciate input from everyone. It’s the only way in which we can improve the working environment for all of us, including you.

  • IS EASYGOING

    Everyone is different. We get that. But we don’t want constant nagging about everything. We don’t want to argue over everything. Time is precious - you have to be easygoing so that we can all have a productive surrounding.

    This is the key to a productive environment. This is also the single most important secondary thing that is relevant to all of us. The primary thing is… you’ve guessed it: Willingness to develop stories (great code).

  • SALARY

    Ace the interview and the tasks and we’ll appreciate you accordingly. We respect confident and skillful people. We don’t want this to be your primary reason for applying but we do understand the need for money. We respect talent, performance, teamwork, we respect individuality and effort, in exactly that order.

    We did get a lot of questions on this. Don’t sweat it. We’ve got you covered all the way.

  • CHANCES TO MOVE FORWARD, NOT UP, BECAUSE WE ONLY LOOK FORWARD

    Name one person who knew everything in one specific field. Hmmm, hard sell right? There is none. Don’t put pressure on yourself about going up the ladder. We don’t want to promote our developers to the point of being incompetent. That will only get you fired. So focus on your current skills and upgrade them constantly.

  • SMALL BUT NICELY EQUIPPED KITCHEN, TWO OF THEM ACTUALLY

    We don’t want you to pay for your coffee. It’s essential that you have everything here so that you can focus more on the actual work. And don’t worry, if you don’t drink coffee, you can have some tea, juice and occasionally beer.

  • FLEXIBLE WORKING TIME: COME WHEN YOU PLEASE, LEAVE WHEN YOU PLEASE. JUST GET THE JOB DONE.

    We still have teammates who cannot believe we are coming to the office whenever we like. The rule is simple. Get your sleep and come well-rested as long as you’re delivering with good pace. Remember when we said that everyone is a developer and manager in its own way? Well, now you have the utmost freedom to manage your time as you like.

  • WORKING HABIT OF YOUR OWN

    If you feel like you’re not up for the challenge at the moment or if you only want to rest a bit, take your time and master some Zen techniques. No one can write a good code without a break. Take yours whenever you feel like it. You can lie down on the big sphere cushions and watch TV while drinking your coffee, or reading the things you’re interested in... It doesn’t always need to be related to developing :) You can even get some of our books (which are mostly about developing :) ) and upgrade yourself, step by step.

  • MEET YOUR NEEDS

    If you have scheduled something important (dentist, doctor, college/educational stuff, etc.), just let us know and be on your way. Most of the developers we know are not quite organized due to their dedication and focus on the actual work they’re doing. We tend to help them by giving them space to pursue their agendas outside of work. If it’s something important, YOU have the absolute freedom.


THE PROCESS


  • BE SURE THAT YOU ARE WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR. BE TRUE TO YOURSELF FIRST.

    Know this. If you’re faking something, we will know eventually. If you want to prosper here, be completely honest with both yourself and us. You have only one chance to make a first impression. Make it count.

  • APPLY WITH A GOOD RESUME

    The types of resumes we’ve seen, well, it’s not for bragging. There is a lot of room for you to shine here. Invest some time.

  • INTERVIEW

    Be yourself. Relax. We don’t bite. We’re young and there is no need to panic. If you don’t know something, it’s OK, no sweat; you’ll get the next one.

  • FEW (small) TASKS JUST TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU GOT WHAT IT TAKES

    If the interview went good, then you have to excel here. It’s the last step, so don’t waste the opportunity.
